About us

The London and South East of England Burn Network (LSEBN) was established in 2008 in response to the National Burn Care Review, published in 2001. The review identified clinical networks as the organisational model, or way of working, to drive change and improve burn care services for the population in specific areas. Four networks have been set up, covering the North of England, Midlands, South West UK and our own network for London and SE England.

The LSEBN network serves a population of around 20 million people, covers four NHS strategic health authorities and has four specialised burn care providers. Follow the links below to find out more about our burn services:

The LSEBN is supported by a small, dedicated team. Contact members of the network team, for more information. See our work programme for 2011-2012.

In addition to the network team, we have also supported the appointment of Burn Care Advisors in each of the the four specialised burn care services.
