The network team has supported the appointment of Burn Care Advisors in each of the the four specialised burn care services. These posts have been developed to ensure a consistent approach across the whole network for developing burns education programme in relation to the initial management and referral of patients with a burn injury.
Burn Care Advisor - Contacts:
The Burn Care Advisors are working with clinicians in the referring Emergency Departments to
develop a burn link nurse to act as the focal point for contact with the specialist Burn Care Advisors.
